Cavalor OilMega combines virgin linseed oil (rich in omega-3), soybean oil (rich in omega-6), and rapeseed oil to achieve an optimal omega 3:6 ratio. Omega-3 and omega-6 are essential fatty acids the body cannot produce itself — they must come from feed. When the ratio is balanced, the horse automatically produces sufficient omega-9.

A high-fat diet can also improve sports performance. Fat energy helps muscles convert energy without large amounts of lactate, reducing the "hot" effect often seen with cereal-based rations. Particularly beneficial for horses doing extended work periods or "hyperactive" horses.

The patented natural antibiotic is a balanced mix of medium-chain fatty acids (C6–C12 from tropical plants) that positively influence intestinal flora, boost health, and have an anti-ageing effect on cells — increasing immunity and reducing the energy needed to fight infection.

Cavalor OilMega must be added to the ration gradually. Adding too much too quickly can cause bloating, excessive gas, loss of appetite and thin manure. Follow the gradual introduction schedule below:
