Recommendations

From birth, the puppy's primary source of food will be its mother's milk (under normal conditions), and preparation for weaning
should begin between six and eight weeks of age. At this time, you should introduce the new solid food. We recommend adding a

from liquid milk to solid food easier and also aids digestion, as the digestive system is not yet fully developed. Gradually
reduce the amount of water until you offer the food in its original state.

Mothers should begin feeding Avenal Dog Puppy in the last third of gestation, gradually transitioning
from their previous food and increasing the daily amount until delivery. Avenal Dog Puppy provides the necessary energy
intake to meet the demands of late gestation and promotes better digestion.

During lactation, mothers should continue to be fed Avenal Dog Puppy, and we recommend doing so
ad libitum until 3–5 weeks of lactation (when peak milk production occurs). This regime supports free food intake since
energy needs depend on the amount of milk produced. It is very important to ensure that the bitch receives enough energy from
food for milk production and not from her own reserves, thus maintaining her body weight. Feeding the same food as the puppies
